Negative Space Nautical Nails Tutorial

This beautiful stripped nail design is different from what you have seen before and that is because of its unique style and colours. It is very easy to follow-not only the picture tutorial below shows you step by step how to achieve the design but I will help you by making a brief description of the picture.

1.Start by applying the base (top coat), preferably transparent but you can use light beige such as used in the one below as well. Make sure to wait a good amount of time for the top coat to dry before getting started with the nail design.

2.Apply striping tape such as indicated in the picture below. Make sure the tape covers you cuticles so the nail polish doesn’t leak and mess up the whole nail design and your skin.

3.Paint the stripes based on your chosen colours. Make sure to make a good combination of colours if you wont follow the one below. Maybe you don’t have all the nail polish colours used below so you want to go for something different, and that’s fine but try to be creative and mix match colours well with each other.

4-Apply top coat after you are done and that’s it really. Very easy and looks absolutely gorgeous! It doesn’t take much time and can be done on both short or long nails.
