Chic Chignon Ponytail Hairstyle

This is a beautiful chignon ponytail that can be done in only few minutes for all sort of events such as party, birthday, prom, attending a wedding ect. The events that require you to dress up in an elegant way are plenty but not all of us feel confident to go to beauty saloon and spend our hard earned money on hairstyles, especially as there are so many useful hair design tutorials on the web that help you create beautiful hairstyles all by yourself.

In order to create this hairstyle, you will need to have your hair at least at a medium length because short hair are hard to deal if you want to create a hairstyle like this one. Start by straightening your hair with a flat iron and then separate a section by holding it with bobby pins such as shown in the second picture.

Twist it around and secure it with an elastic band by creating a ponytail at the end. Secure it with a bobby pin in the end and your elegant chignon ponytail is now ready. As you can see below, it looks awesome and it took less than 5 minutes to be done (except the hair straightening part that takes awhile). You can put some hair accessories such as flowers or rhinestones to make this hairstyle even more eye-catching. Have fun doing it!
