How to Clean Your Flat Iron

After many usages everything gets consumed, even hair straighteners. They get dirty and old after a few years (some sooner than others). But I am going to show you an easy and effective way to always keep your flat iron clean and new. In a small bowl (dish) mix together hydrogen peroxide and baking soda, and then with a spoon or your fingers, apply the mixture over the ceramic part of your flat iron. Make sure you apply the mixture even on the corners where the dirt mostly accumulates (you can do that with the help of a cotton). After making sure all the dirt is gone, wipe it off with a wet clothing and then let it dry completely before using it. You should always keep your flat iron clean and smooth. Anytime you see that your flat iron is getting consumed and dirty, get your baking soda and hydrogen peroxide ready!
